DESCRIPTION:
One of Florida’s largest independent career colleges is in need of a
Medical Assistant Instructor.
Our MAI’s are responsible for leveraging their expertise to
deliver education services to students through: preparing course plans
and materials, delivering courses, monitoring progress/attendance,
advising students, recording grades and submitting reports.
Curriculum consists of a 12-month program offering classes one at
a time so students have access to faculty and receive hands-on
education.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting from a
Regionally Accredited School
Must have RMA or CMA credentials and basic X-ray
licensure (basic operator in X-ray can be obtained while on the job with
specific time frame and stipulation to take and pass the test)
Must have 4 years clinical work experience (EMT
experience can count for part of the time)
2 years post-graduate experience with recent
teaching experience preferred (classroom education or clinical
experience as an educator/preceptor will be considered)
HOURS:
This is a full-time position with starting
classroom hours M, T, Th from 6:30-10:30, with other hours focused on
preparing for class and helping in the afternoons developing externship
sites for students who are completing classes.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience plus excellent
benefits!
