Welcome to the home of the Florida Society of Medical Assistants.  We hope that medical assistants will enjoy learning about our professional organization. This site is designed for members, students, educators and all who wish to learn about this rapidly growing allied health profession. Here, you will have an opportunity to exchange ideas, learn of the rules and regulations governing the profession according to the Florida statute and find many resources for the practicing medical assistant, students and physician employers. 

We have changed the focus of the FSMA Web Site to have it become the main information resource for all FSMA members.  All of our written documents i.e. Meeting minutes, Bylaws, Policy and Procedure Manual are all on the Web Site instead of using paper.  We will also be putting the General Assembly Packet online for the members for our Annual Meeting.  State and Chapter information is updated whenever necessary with officer e-mails published for instant communication.  Our State Publication the "LINK" has become a Web Based Publication for our members, and contains multiple Links that will enable our members to "Link" to web sites that will help them be better Medical Assistants and also to web sites that offer continuing education that they can take part in and submit for consideration for NON AAMA continuing education credits.
