Meetings

The Polk Chapter of Medical Assistants welcomes all members, medical professionals, friends, colleagues and individuals interested in medical updates. We hold our meetings once a month and we will attempt to have an educational speaker at each meeting to speak on current health topics.  At any meeting involving a speaker, we will submit a request for CEUs approval to the AAMA. No CEU fee to members carrying the AAMA membership card and students. Non-members CEU fees are $5.00, payable the date of the session by cash or check. We will be organizing committees to help with upcoming events. We encourage anyone who has an idea to come and share with us. A sign up sheet will be available at each meeting if you are interested in volunteering your time on a committee. We ask that you please make child care arrangements for your children while you attend chapter meetings. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend any meetings.
